Compensation and Benefit Program

HDR, Inc. BEST Plan 401(k)
Available to all employees, the BEST Plan 401(k) allows you to defer a portion of your income to your own personal account on a pre-tax basis, which lowers your taxable income by an amount equal to your savings. The plan allows for flexibility in investment choices with a variety of funds. Participation is available on the first of the month following one month of employment.

HDR’s BEST Plan Matching Contribution 
The BEST Plan allows for a company supplemental contribution, which will be based on the financial performance of the company. HDR's 401(k) matching contribution is a cash contribution calculated each pay period, deposited into your account and invested in the funds of your choice.

HDR, Inc. Common Stock  
Typically on an annual basis, participants in the HDR BEST Plan 401(k) are permitted to elect to invest all or a part of their account balances in HDR, Inc. Common Stock. Any election to invest in HDR common stock should be intended only as a long-term investment.

Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance
Full-time employees and their dependents are eligible to enroll in a Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) Medical Insurance Plan with a choice of deductibles.  Dental and Vision insurance is also available.  Coverage is available on the first of the month following your date of hire.

Flexible Benefits Plan 
Full-time employees may use pre-tax dollars to pay for dependent care and health care expenses, which are not covered by any insurance plan, by setting aside a portion of their monthly salary on a pre-tax basis.

Life Insurance  
Full-time employees are provided term life insurance and accidental death or dismemberment coverage at no cost. A separate policy covers accidental death while traveling on company business. Additional voluntary term life insurance for the employee, spouse and/or children is available to employees at very reasonable rates.

Short- and Long-Term Disability 
Full-time employees are provided both short term and long term disability insurance at no cost. Both plans replace a substantial portion of the employee's income.

Paid Time Off Programs
Based on length of service with the firm, employees accrue a generous amount of vacation and sick leave bi-weekly. Paid Bereavement Leave and Holiday pay are also available as separate paid time off programs.

Part-time Employee Benefits
Employees regularly scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week are eligible for medical and dental insurance, flexible benefit plans, life and disability insurance, bereavement leave, and receive 75 percent of the full-time vacation, sick leave and holiday paid time off programs.
