Architecture
There are many exciting opportunities in the field of architecture at HDR. Architects form the heart of the design team. They are registered professionals who coordinate the work of a multi-disciplined team throughout the schematic design, design development, construction document and construction phases of a project. Architects work directly with project managers and the client to bring the client's visions to reality. They are responsible for meeting schedules, reviewing and coordinating project design intent with other team members, reviewing the project with appropriate agencies for code compliance, and managing changes as they occur throughout the project.

Civil Engineering
Civil engineering involves the science and art of designing the infrastructure of a modern civilized society. Civil engineering is a composite of many specific disciplines, all of which are represented at HDR.

  • Geotechnical - Analyzing subterranean rock and soil and determining suitability to support extreme loads

Interior Design
Interior designers are an integral part of the design team at HDR. These talented professionals work directly with the client and the design team to determine image and to coordinate interior material selection, interior architectural detailing and lighting.

Interior designers help the client to determine standards for furniture selection, review and specify products with end-users, and aid the client in the selection of signage, artwork and accessories.
