USU Agricultural Sciences Building (AGRS) Selected as Interiors & Sources Top Ten LEED® Project

Interiors & Sources magazine selected the HDR-designed Agricultural Sciences Building (AGRS) at Utah State University College of Agriculture and Applied Sciences in Logan Utah as one of their Top Ten LEED Projects for 2013. Recognizing the universal and positive impact of sustainable design on the architecture industry, each year the publication selects its Top 10 LEED picks which exemplify excellence in sustainable commercial interior design and architecture.

Interior design features to improve occupant health and safety such as monitored air quality, a central atrium, and operable windows, along with abundant natural light and the use of healthy indoor materials, including low VOC paints and finishes, helped make this LEED Gold-certified project stand out and capture a spot on the magazine's annual list.  Significant collaboration space is also incorporated into the design of the open laboratory and teaching facility.

The AGRS Building is featured in the Top 10 LEED Projects List and in a companion article in the October 2013 issue of Interiors & Sources.
