HDR | Rice Daubney Shines Bright at Vivid Sydney
(July 8, 2014) – HDR | Rice Daubney contributed two installations in this year's Vivid Sydney, an annual festival of lights, music and art. Cleft, designed by Project Architect Simon Grimes, is an illuminated wall hanging designed to distort our perception of light. Peloton, designed by Simon, Stuart Aslett, Elisa Nakano, and Jonathan Lindsay, is a series of illuminated bicycle helmets representing the importance of collaboration ("peloton" is the word used for the main group of cyclists in a race). The temporary exhibits were displayed in the Vivid Sydney festival from May 23rd until June9th.
