HDR Promotes Lauzier to Transportation Planning and Design Director

(January 14, 2014) - Andy Lauzier, P.E., has been promoted to transportation planning and design director at HDR, based in the firm's Orlando office. His responsibilities include companywide development, coordination, monitoring and improvement of technical competencies related to transportation planning and design.

Lauzier previously served as section manager and managing principal of HDR's Orlando office, a position he held since 2005. He has more than 30 years of broad, multi-disciplined experience in transportation engineering and design. His many achievements at HDR include conducting reviews of major infrastructure projects, managing the design of several large design-build and final design projects in Florida and Georgia and helping develop HDR's transportation hydraulics practice.

With a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the Virginia Military Institute, Lauzier is a member of the Florida Institute of Consulting Engineers' transportation committee and is chairman of its production subcommittee. He is also a member of the Florida Engineering Society.
