Joe Cliggott Named Managing Principal of HDR's Chicago Office
(February 12, 2014) - HDR is pleased to announce that Joseph Cliggott, AIA, LEED AP, CDT, has joined the Chicago office as Managing Principal. In this role, Joe will lead the operations and business development functions of the office and oversee the expansion of HDR's presence in the greater Chicago region.
Cliggott brings with him 18 years of experience in varying project types with work spanning three continents, most recently serving as a project manager at Rafael Vinoly Architects after spending more than nine years with Chicago-based Goettsch Partners. Apart from working in London between 2007 and 2010, he has called Chicago home, completing several large scale, award-winning projects, including UBS Tower, 111 South Wacker Drive and the recently opened Center for Care and Discovery at the University of Chicago Medicine. He is known by his peers for his commitment to both quality client service and design excellence.

The recipient of the 2006 AIA Chicago Young Architect award, Cliggott has been actively involved in numerous charitable and volunteer organizations, including the Chicago Architectural Foundation and the ACE Mentor program. He earned a Bachelor of Architecture from Penn State University.
