Culbertson Joins HDR as National Power Delivery Client Development Leader
(December. 8, 2014) - George Culbertson, P.E., has joined HDR as client development leader of its national power delivery program.
Culbertson has more than 35 years of experience in the power industry. His expertise includes engineering and construction of EHV transmission lines and associated facilities. He has managed and directed multiple projects totaling over $120 million.
Before joining HDR, Culbertson was a general manager of Duke Engineering and Services' International Group Asia Pacific Operations as well as vice president for Shaw, Pike Energy Solutions and Tetra Tech.
In his new position, Culbertson will oversee the power delivery program from a global basis across power delivery service lines and coordinate business development with local and regional leadership.
A registered professional engineer, Culbertson holds a bachelor's degree from Virginia Tech in electrical engineering and power systems.
