Bell Named NACE International Fellow
(March 20, 2015) - Graham E.C. Bell, Ph.D., PE, HDR's business class lead for condition assessment and rehabilitation and senior vice president, has been named a fellow of the NACE International (formerly National Association of Corrosion Engineers). Bell received the award at the organization's recent international conference, which was attended by more than 6,000 corrosion professionals from around the world.
Bell is an internationally-recognized leader in infrastructure condition assessment and rehabilitation. Bell was made a fellow in recognition of his leadership, technological innovation and applied research to improve corrosion control practices and awareness in the water and wastewater industries.
In 2013 he was presented with the Distinguished Service Award for his local, national and international service to NACE International.
A professional engineer in eight states and certified by NACE International as both Corrosion and Cathodic Protection Specialists, Bell joined HDR through the acquisition of his former company, Schiff Associates where he was president and principal for 18 years.
Bell holds both bachelor of science and master of science degrees in engineering, and a doctor of philosophy in nuclear engineering, all from the University of California, Los Angeles.
