Robert Allen to Present at ENR “Learning the ABCs of Building with Data” Webinar

(October 10, 2016) - HDR's Robert Allen, P.E. is a panelist for Engineering News-Record' s upcoming free webinar, "Learning the ABCs (Accelerated Bridge Construction) of Building with Data," on Thursday, October 13 at 2 p.m. EDT. He will share lessons learned as design project manager for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) Rapid Bridge Replacement Program (RBRP).

While serving as the design project manager for the PennDOT RBRP, HDR Associate Vice President Allen has been responsible for the daily design operations and a team of over 200 engineers per week working to deliver the design for 558 bridge sites.

Allen will be co-presenting the PennDOT RBRP story with Scott Benjamin, deputy project manager for Walsh/Granite JV. The panel also includes Ken Warbritton, maintenance liaison engineer, Missouri DOT and Thomas Donald, P.E., director of bridge project management, Massachusetts DOT Highway Division.

Webinar attendees will learn how these three states successfully bundle hundreds of bridges into rapid-replacement programs and the kinds of technology that helps them stay on top of the work and the project schedule.
