Let's face it, it's nice to be noticed, to get a pat on the back, and to be recognized for doing great work. We recognize our team members in a number of ways. In 1989, our leadership set out to develop a company-wide awards program that rivals those of Fortune 500 companies, with the purpose of recognizing and rewarding those employees whose dedication to quality, innovation, and productivity push far beyond expectations. What sets it apart is that it is an employee-driven program, where peers select local and national recipients based on nominations in nine individual and team categories.
Officer Program
There are opportunities for employees to be promoted to an officer of the company. Each year, existing officers are asked to nominate others for consideration for recognition and promotion to the positions of associate vice president, vice president or senior vice president. Employees who demonstrate outstanding leadership skills, have consistently exceeded expectations established by the company, are excellent communicators, and who uphold our values may be candidates for nomination.
Professional Associates Program
As a professional services firm, we recognize the importance of our technical personnel. Three professional titles, equivalent in stature to officership, have been established to recognize professional excellence in all disciplines. Principal professional associates, senior professional associates and professional associates are elected to the program and are considered our experts in their respective service areas. They are called upon to provide technical advice and direction on projects, assist in quality control and project reviews, perform technical training, develop best practices, mentor other staff members, apply leading edge technology in the workplace, publish technical papers and presentations and assist in business development and technical staff recruiting and retention.
