Physical Sciences Thought Leaders
Ahmad Soueid, AIANational Director of Critical Environments
Ahmad is considered a global leader in planning, design and construction of facilities established for research or production at the nanometer scale. He specializes in critical environments that enable leading edge research improving the quality of life. His designs focus on providing creative design solutions for projects in advanced research fields such as nanotechnology, metrology, material sciences, quantum computing and accelerator physics. He's also the author of "nanoTALK," a regular column in Controlled Environments Magazine.
Jack PaulPrincipal Planner
Jack Paul is a nationally recognized expert in laboratory planning and programming for the physical sciences and cleanroom users, including research at the nanoscale.
When programming facilities, he works closely with the laboratory users to develop detailed and effective designs.
By successfully co-locating multiple disciplines, he is able to produce efficient, flexible laboratory designs that further collaborative transdisciplinary research approaches.
His work spans across the North America, including projects for higher education and research buildings, nanotechnology research laboratories, microelectronics facilities as well as several prominent DOE labs for the Federal Government.
