Houston-Galveston Regional Transit Framework Study
The Regional Transit Framework Study is a comprehensive needs based assessment of transit operations and capital needs in the Houston-Galveston area. Scheduled for completion in 2010, the study will serve as a framework for developing a regional public transit plan that includes short- and long-term recommendations through 2040.
Regional and local transit needs are being defined through the identification and analysis of existing and future transportation deficiencies and overall travel demand. We are responsible for managing the transit service, capital and financial planning elements of the study,as well as all aspects of public involvement.
