Town & Country Mobile Home Park Noise Mitigation
As part of SeaTac's noise reduction proposal, all Town & Country Mobile Home Park occupants had to be relocated in accordance with FAA Circular 150/5100-17 and the Federal Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act of 1970 as amended. We co-located with Port of Seattle staff to conduct the acquisition and relocation program, which including negotiating the acquisition of more than 200 mobile and manufactured homes, and providing relocation services to all occupants of those dwellings. Many of the occupants were non-English speaking, low income, elderly, and several of the dwellings housed multiple families. We provided cost estimates, calculated relocation benefits and worked closely with the occupants to facilitate vacating properties. We also tailored specific map and database tracking processes to assist with property management.
