HDR Receives 2014 EBJ Business Achievement Award for Social Contributions
Environmental Business Journal has recognized HDR's efforts to give back to communities by giving the firm a 2014 Business Achievement Award in the Social Contributions category.
HDR was recognized for its work establishing the HDR Foundation, which has awarded grants to 20 non-profit organizations throughout the United States in its first two years. The foundation's areas of emphasis for grants include creating healthy communities, expanding interest in education, and enhancing the environment.
The 2014 EBJ awards will be presented at a special ceremony at the Environmental Industry Summit XIII in San Diego, California on March 11-13, 2015. The Environmental Industry Summit is an annual three-day executive retreat hosted by EBI Inc., publisher of Environmental Business Journal. Other award categories include revenue growth, acquisitions, innovative project designs, technology applications, new practice areas and industry leadership.
