New Parkland Hospital Wins 2015 Texas Society of Architects Design Award

The HDR+Corgan–designed new Parkland Hospital was recently selected for a 2015 Texas Society of Architects (TSA) Design Award—one of only 14 projects selected from among 256 entries.

The awards program recognizes outstanding architectural projects by Texas architects. Winners will be featured in a fall issue of Texas Architect Magazine and recognized at the Annual Convention and Design Expo in Dallas on November 5-7. Joint venture partners HDR+Corgan will also participate in one of several design award panels at the Expo to represent the project.

Opening in August 2015, the new Parkland Hospital is an 862-bed, 2.1 million-square-foot full-service acute replacement hospital.
