Jody Debs Joins HDR As General Counsel
Jody Debs has joined HDR as general counsel. Her responsibilities include oversight of the legal department including contracts, procurement, risk management, dispute resolution, insurance services, and legal issues. She will split time between HDR’s Omaha and Denver offices beginning Aug 17.
Prior to joining HDR, Debs was the chief legal officer for ARCADIS North America. Debs has more than 25 years of experience in the corporate legal profession. She held positions of increasing responsibility at CH2M, including interim chief legal officer and director of risk and commercial contracts. She also served as senior counsel at Bechtel Infrastructure Corporation.
Debs serves on the board of Engineers without Borders and is a fellow in the American College of Construction Lawyers. She received her juris doctor degree from the Duke University School of Law. She also holds a master's degree in economics from Duke University, and bachelor's degrees in economics and journalism from the University of Columbia-Missouri.
