HDR's Bergschneider Elected to Vice President of AWWA

Kevin Bergschneider, water program leader in HDR's Denver office, has been elected as vice president of the American Water Works Association. He is one of four new vice presidents who were recently elected.

Bergschneider will officially join AWWA as an officer in June at the conclusion of its annual conference and exposition in Chicago. He will serve in this role until 2018. 

Bergschneider has been an active member of AWWA's Rocky Mountain section for 15 years and is currently serving as an AWWA director representing the states of Colorado, Wyoming and New Mexico. He also serves as the Vice Chair of the AWWA Membership Engagement and Development Committee. His AWWA accolades include receiving the George Warren Fuller Award in 2015, the Diamond Pin Recruitment Award in 2002 and 2005, and the Lyle D. Herman Distinguished Service Award in 2002.

The American Water Works Association is an international non-profit, scientific and educational association founded to improve water quality and supply. Established in 1881, it has a membership of around 50,000 members worldwide with a mission to provide a better world through better water.
