HDR Adds Coast-to-Coast Hydropower With Additions of Mannheim, Reilly

Carl Mannheim, Senior Hydraulic Engineer, and Brandi Reilly, Senior Marketing Manager, recently joined HDR’s hydropower team. Both are respected in the industry and add expertise to HDR’s industry-leading team of hydropower specialists.

Based in Seattle, Washington, Mannheim has 20 years of widespread hydropower expertise in water resources, hydraulic and hydropower engineering. He’s experienced in project and staff management as well as business development, which lends itself well to his second role as Northwest Hydropower Engineering Manager. He is a member of the Association of Dam Safety Officials. He earned both this master’s and bachelor’s degrees from the University of Iowa.

Reilly is an environmental engineer and natural leader who works hard to build productive working relationships with clients and staff. Located in HDR’s Charlotte, North Carolina, office, she’s leading growth and development in the southeastern U.S. power market with investor-owned utilities, federal power facilities and independent power producers. She has more than 22 years of project delivery and progressive sales and management experience in the electric power generation and industrial markets where she’s focused on strategic planning, managing capital projects and propelling sales growth.

Reilly is an involved member of multiple professional organizations including the Society of Women Engineers and the North Carolina Sustainable Energy Association, and serves on the committee for the UNC Charlotte, Energy Production & Infrastructure Center.
