Graeme Spencer Joins HDR in Sydney

Graeme Spencer has joined HDR’s architecture practice in Sydney, Australia as Associate Director.

Graeme brings over 20 years of practice experience to HDR, heading the design and execution of major healthcare, education, advanced research, arts and cultural projects throughout the United Kingdom, Middle East and Australia. This experience has earned him deep expertise in delivering highly complex large-scale projects that demonstrate design innovation and technical excellence.

A recognised leader in the building and architecture industries, Graeme frequently speaks on topics such as large and complex project delivery (particularly public-private partnerships) and cutting-edge design. His most recent speaking engagements have included the DesignBUILD Expo at ICC Sydney and the International Lighting Summit in Melbourne.

Graeme has had a distinguished career working for some of the most respected architecture firms in the world. Prior to joining HDR, Graeme oversaw large project teams for projects in the sports, entertainment, healthcare and advanced technology sectors at Hassell architecture firm, including the recently completed internationally recognized International Convention Centre Sydney.
