Jeff Curren, P.E.

Jeff’s dedication to the success of complex projects with many interconnected facets translates to his work, with projects and people. As our central region transportation director, he manages the region’s business operations including market development, talent management and program delivery. From staying current with industry trends and providing oversight on our larger and higher risk projects, Jeff collaborates with multidisciplinary regional leads and transportation management across the country to elevate our professionals and our projects as well as advance industry practices. 

Capitalizing on his diverse experience, which includes bridge and highway design, construction, and program management, Jeff provides high-level, decisive insight into all phases of program delivery. His experience encompasses initial concept studies through operations and maintenance activities well after the project is opened to service. 

Jeff brings an enthusiasm for helping both clients and staff tackle new challenges and achieve success. He has adeptly handled various roles at HDR and projects, including serving as program manager for the $1.1 billion Texas State Highway 130 design-build project.
