For more than 20 years, Clare has been planning and designing laboratories for higher education, state and federal government, pharmaceutical, food processing, biotech, microelectronic, industrial and commercial projects. As an architect and former research scientist, Clare brings detailed knowledge of operations in scientific environments to every project. This clear understanding of how facilities support or inhibit research excellence allows her to design laboratories and working environments that enable discovery. Clare enjoys working with scientific users, designers and engineers to create innovative research facilities that are flexible and adaptable to meet ever changing scientific demands. She has presented at conferences for organizations such as the AIA, I2SL, and Tradeline, speaking on topics such as sustainability, safety, security and collaboration in lab spaces.
