Chewy Johnston, PMP

As program manager for construction services, Chewy supports our Air Force Civil Engineer Center and other government clients during their construction projects in Europe and around the world.

Chewy loves the challenge of managing diverse teams all focused on providing our clients world class support. Drawing on his years as an U.S. Air Force fighter pilot, he sees our teams as the client’s wingman; doing all they can to ensure mission success.

One of his greatest professional accomplishments was the management of a major construction services program throughout Afghanistan. The award-winning team exceeded expectations with our AFCEC client, and everyone made it home unharmed.

Chewy is a key mentor for young project managers through our AFCEC program. He enjoys sharing lessons learned and ways to complete project management tasks smarter. He’s given presentations on range management throughout the industry, and he participates in the Society of American Military Engineers.
