Jo Anne Murray Levenson, AIA, NCARB
Jo Anne manages projects in various stages of development, from proposal writing, to setting up and managing project financials, to writing an RFP, charrette design and construction administration. Frequently managing teams of more than 50 members from around the world, she thrives on putting these teams together and coaching them to do extraordinary work.
Among Jo Anne’s accomplishments are: serving as a project manager for a 400,000-square-foot high-security data center compound; a 400,000-square-foot underground operations high-rise building; a 250,000-square-foot high-tech office building; and a government research lab.
For the past three years, Jo Anne has been the chair of her local AIA chapter’s Women in Architecture Committee, which just celebrated 30 years of programs and mentoring for female architects at all career levels. She is also the chair of the 2017 AIA National Women’s Leadership Summit, which is a biannual event for senior and advancing professionals in architectural firms and academia.
