Mark Stanley, P.E., G.E., D.GE

Senior Technical Advisor

Mark is a senior technical advisor in civil and geotechnical engineering. His expertise has provided incredible value on public and private projects throughout the United States including California, Florida, Louisiana, Nevada, New York, North Dakota, Texas and Washington.

With bachelor and master of science degrees, he combines scholarly knowledge with over 30 years of real-world experience and serves as a senior technical resource to manage, execute and review complex water resource projects. He specializes in the planning, investigation, design and construction of water resource and transportation projects with particular focus on dams, levees, canals, riverbanks and waterfront structures. He also has a keen understating of soft soils, liquefaction ground improvement and rock mechanics.

Mark has had the privilege to serve as the lead geotechnical engineer/geotechnical engineer-of-record for the Golden Gate Bridge Seismic Retrofit Project, the lead geotechnical engineer on the Mid Barataria Sediment Diversion initial design in Louisiana, and the geotechnical engineer-of-record for the Natomas Levee Improvement Program in Sacramento.
