Measuring the Impacts of Active School Design

Jeri Brittin, Ph.D., director of research at HDR, was lead author of a recently published article that describes how a school’s design impacts health behavior outcomes. Brittin conducted the natural experiment that is described based on another article that she wrote titled, "Physical Activity Design Guidelines for School Architecture."
