Power Magazine Tells Story of Holland Energy Park’s Transparent Approach to Power
The reimagined Holland Energy Park is a 145 megawatt power plant with a modern design that serves as gateway to the community deeply engaged in its creation. Its features are one-of-a-kind — from an educational space for the community to learn about power generation, to outdoor walking trails in a park-like setting, to expansion of the nation’s largest downtown snowmelt system.
But it didn’t happen overnight. As owner’s engineer and partner throughout the award-winning project, we worked with Holland Board of Public Works to evolve the project from concept to an integral piece of the community. Power Magazine talked with HBPW to learn about the innovative process in the article titled “Transparency Instrumental in Successful Power Plant Project.”
