ACC Blue Grass Airport - Runway 4-22 and Taxiway A Rehabilitation Live Webinar

This webinar, presented by the Airport Consultants Council, will explore the rehabilitation of Runway 4-22 and Taxiway A at Blue Grass Airport in Lexington, Kentucky.

The airport, with assistance from HDR, opted to close its only commercial runway for a weekend and pave it all at once rather than in a series of nightly closures. The webinar presenters will discuss the strategy and the airport circumstances that led to this 72-hour shutdown. They will also discuss the logistics of planning construction in this compressed window and hear lessons learned on the project. Participants will also hear how the team fit in additional project elements on this tight schedule.
