An Opportunity to Strengthen Trust With Your Community

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency finalized its Lead and Copper Rule Revisions on Dec. 16, 2021, establishing a host of new communications requirements for water utilities of all sizes, including those without lead service lines present in their systems.

Recognizing the necessity for utilities to communicate about the LCRR and the opportunity for this to strengthen public trust, the American Water Works Association assembled a project steering committee comprised of leading communications professionals from across the U.S. and hired our strategic communications experts to develop a Lead Communications Guide and Toolkit for water utilities.

On Friday, Dec. 2, join Ameerah Palacios, APR, CTA, MBA, and other drinking water communication experts as they debut AWWA’s new Lead Communications Guide and tools. This webinar is a great opportunity for water utilities to learn how to develop effective strategies to communicate to their customers and strengthen public trust.
