Bell Named HDR's Condition Assessment and Rehabilitation Business Class Director
Graham Bell, Ph.D., PE, has been named HDR's condition assessment and rehabilitation business class director, based in Claremont, Calif.
Bell is an internationally-recognized leader in infrastructure condition assessment and rehabilitation. In 2013 he was presented with the Distinguished Service Award by the National Association of Corrosion Engineers for his service to NACE International, including work he has performed on technical committees, including nuclear systems, fire protection systems, cast and ductile iron pipe, prestressed concrete cylinder pipe, and advanced corrosion monitoring.
A professional engineer, Bell joined HDR through the acquisition of his former company, Schiff Associates where he was president and principal for 18 years.
Bell holds both bachelor of science and master of science degrees in engineering, and a doctor of philosophy in nuclear engineering, all from the University of California. He has authored numerous best practices and other processes through projects, technology and research that have become industry standards.
