HDR Welcomes Rod Brauer as Central Region Water Director
Rod Brauer has been appointed the central region water services director, based in the Englewood, Colorado office. Brauer will help establish the central region’s strategic vision and partner with operational leadership to develop goals and strategies.
Brauer has more than 34 years in the water industry. During that time, he has managed projects, led business development campaigns and performed financial oversight for projects across North and South America. His expertise includes program management and progressive design-builds such as the city of Houston’s $1.3 billion Northeast Water Purification Plant Expansion.
Prior to joining HDR, Brauer served as the market sector lead for water treatment at Stantec Consulting, and co-led its water technology group.
Brauer holds bachelor of science and master of science degrees, both from the University of Wyoming. He holds a professional engineering license in several states and certifications from the American Academy of Environmental Engineers and Project Management Institute.
