HDR’s Los Angeles Architecture Studio Welcomes Seven New Employees
Seven new employees have joined HDR’s Los Angeles architecture staff since October. Datev Hovannisian speaks for all of them when she says,
“Every day is a learning opportunity because I get to collaborate and work with HDR’s outstanding design teams.”
Datev is an interior design coordinator who assists senior designers in all phases of the design process. Her responsibilities range from design research to creating 3D graphics, and material/finish research and selection.
Rui Ding is a design coordinator for the education, science, and technology program. His job duties include delivering accurate and detailed design results through drawings, 3D models, diagrams, and presentations.
Armita Lor Kalantari is a design coordinator who helps with the design and technical aspects of projects in order to address clients’ needs and provide high-quality design and documents.
Jing Zhao is a healthcare project coordinator involved in healthcare projects from the planning phase through construction documentation. She works with medical planners and project architects to translate users’ expectations into construction drawings.
Charlene Mendez is a sustainable consultant who collaborates with design teams throughout the life of a project by implementing environmental analyses, energy modeling, and sustainable benchmarking certification tools.
Interns Mario Hernandez and Saif Turki will be in the office for the duration of the spring semester assisting with the creation of design and construction documents.
