Femmer Joins HDR to Lead Data Acquisition Team

Carlos Femmer has joined HDR to lead its data acquisition and survey practice. He will be based in the firm’s Lafayette, Louisiana, office. As data acquisition director, Femmer will lead data acquisition and surveying efforts across all of HDR’s market sectors.

Femmer has more than 15 years of experience managing teams that performed surveys for tens of thousands of miles of transmission lines, pipelines and railways. Before joining HDR, Femmer was president of John Chance Land Surveys and also served as chief operating officer and vice president. During that time he oversaw various aspects of development, innovation, operations and strategic endeavors across the company’s land survey and airborne divisions.

Femmer holds a bachelor’s degree in management information systems from the University of Massachusetts and a master in business administration from E.J. Ourso School of Business from Louisiana State University. In addition, he serves on the boards of the Louisiana Oil and Gas Association and the Interstate Natural Gas Association of America. He is also on the Deans Advisory Council at Louisiana State University.
