HDR and Tehama Joint Venture Awarded Construction Management Contract from USACE Baltimore District
A joint venture of HDR and Tehama has been awarded a five-year, $9,9 million, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract for construction management services with the United States Army Corps of Engineers’ Baltimore District.
The contract builds on both companies’ extensive experience with construction management. The Tehama | HDR joint venture is currently providing Construction Phase Services and facility management to several Department of Defense clients. At Tinker Air Force Base, 85 on-site and off-site operations staff are providing facility management, operations engineering, construction management and architecture/engineering support on a daily basis. In one year, the team has prepared more than 100 work packages with a construction value over $100 million of building and infrastructure projects.
“We’ve provided construction support to our federal clients around the world,” said Lionel Zapata, contract manager. “From expanding the facilities of the Afghan National Security Force to the Replacement of Taxiway Sierra at Joint Base Andrews for Air Force One, this team is ready to bring their construction management experience to USACE Baltimore District's construction program.”
