HDR’s Cody Parham Named to Top 40 Under 40 by Airport Business Magazine
Cody Parham, an engineer and project manager based in HDR’s Fort Lauderdale, Florida office, has been named to Airport Business magazine’s Top 40 Under 40 list. The Top 40 Under 40 showcases the top talent and leading thinkers in the aviation industry who are driving success and innovations for the future. Candidates for 2018 were vetted on innovation, outstanding attributes, and commitment and involvement in the industry. Winners are selected by members of the Airport Business staff.
Parham recently developed a training program for airport and HDR staff, to train new construction inspectors with a focus on quality construction, on top of his ongoing project work. He also recently helped a regional airport integrate innovative sustainable features into a building modernization. The results will benefit the community and environment, and reduce the client’s operations and maintenance costs, while helping the client make efficient use of their budget.
Parham is active with the Airport Consultants Council, Florida Airports Council and the American Society of Civil Engineers. He serves as vice chair for the ACC Young Professional Forum. During last year’s planning, design and construction symposium, he served as the YP liaison to the engineering track, and at this year’s symposium, he moderated a “Shark Tank” style innovative business competition. He sits on the Corporate Committee for the Florida Airports Council and on the Airfield Pavement Committee for ASCE.
“I think Cody’s most outstanding attribute is his passion for the aviation industry,” said Bill Peduzzi, HDR’s aviation director. “He applies this passion by staying up on the latest drivers and issues that impact facilities of all sizes, from general aviation to large hubs, and sharing what he learns with his clients and peers. This recognition is very well-deserved.”
