Leng Rejoins HDR as Wastewater Treatment Disinfection Lead
June Leng, Ph.D., P.E., has rejoined HDR as wastewater treatment disinfection lead, based in HDR’s Folsom, California, office. As disinfection lead, Dr. Leng will lead HDR‘s best practice of disinfection process study, plan, design and implementation in wastewater treatment and water reuse applications.
Dr. Leng served in this position at HDR from 2001 to 2017. Before recently rejoining HDR, Dr. Leng was principal technologist at CH2M (now Jacobs Engineering Group).
She has more than 25 years national and international experience in wastewater treatment and water reuse. She has provided disinfection technology evaluation, bench-scale and pilot-scale disinfection studies, facility planning, design, startup, optimization, and operator training for over 60 disinfection projects.
Dr. Leng holds a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering, a Master of Science in environmental engineering and a doctor of philosophy in civil engineering. She is also an adjunct faculty member with California State University.
