Trina McGuire-Collier has joined HDR as strategic communications director for cross sector services for water. She is based in HDR’s Denver office. Her focus will be to elevate and expand services, develop best practices, provide client service and drive market opportunities for the firm’s water services primarily and across sectors.
McGuire-Collier joined HDR after a 25-year career in the public affairs department for Denver Water, serving in a variety of roles, including most recently as director of communications and marketing since 2012.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in speech and broadcast communications from Metropolitan State College of Denver, and did graduate coursework in public relations and organizational communication at the University of Denver.
About joining HDR, McGuire-Collier said, “HDR is poised to be a leader because we understand the need to provide full-spectrum services to our clients. In addition to helping build a project, we’re going to also help engage the public around that project. Our philosophy as an organization — our commitment to making the world a better place — requires a real sensibility around public engagement.”
