Neal Corbett Transitions to New Position as Health Principal in Atlanta

Neal Corbett

Neal Corbett, AIA, ACHA, LEED AP, has been named health principal for Architecture in the Atlanta office.  As an officer in the company in his 14th year with HDR, Corbett relocated from the Boston office in 2015, where he led the growth of the Healthcare and Education, Science + Technology practices as managing principal for seven years.

The move marks a transition from Corbett’s focused expertise in project and client management for the health practice to growing and developing the overall health architecture practice in Atlanta and the Southeast U.S.

Corbett has led and delivered a variety of health projects in the region, including the Mission Hospital for Advanced Medicine in Asheville, N.C., the Roper St. Francis Berkeley new Hospital and Medical Office Building in Charleston, S.C., and various projects in the Atlanta area for Kaiser Permanente and Grady Health System. Corbett earned a Bachelor of Architecture at the University of Texas at Austin.

As a board-certified architect by the American College of Healthcare Architects (ACHA) specializing in healthcare, Corbett brings an extensive portfolio of experience and successful relationships from around the world, and will strengthen the Atlanta office bench as a trusted provider of comprehensive and progressive Healthcare consulting services.
