Trevor Lee Named Health Principal for HDR in Florida
Trevor Lee, AIA, has joined HDR as a health principal as part of the firms’ growing architecture presence in Florida. Lee comes to HDR from Gresham, Smith and Partners’ Jacksonville office where he spent the last four years as senior vice president and managing principal and guided a 30 percent growth in the office. He was also the firm’s leader for their Corporate and Urban Design Studio. In his new role with HDR, Lee will focus on business development strategy for HDR’s health design practice throughout the southeastern U.S., with an immediate focus on the Florida market.
Lee’s design and leadership experience in the architecture industry spans nearly 20 years. He has diverse experience in multiple markets including healthcare, education, industrial, federal and corporate. Lee is a graduate of the University of Tennessee where he earned his Bachelor of Architecture.
“Trevor’s confident leadership and strong team-building skills will contribute immediately to HDR’s growing practice in Florida,” said Chris Bormann, HDR’s director of health in the eastern U.S. “He has a breadth of architectural experience, intuitive client management instincts and brings fresh perspective that will help elevate HDR throughout the Southeast.”
Developing innovative solutions to clients’ unique challenges and creatively solving their problems is what Lee values most. “This is at the core of what architects do,” he said. “And it is the most professionally rewarding experience that we have.” His passion for high-quality design and close meaningful relationships with clients will coalesce with HDR’s design teams in Tampa, Atlanta and Charlotte.
“My goal is to see HDR passionately solving our clients’ challenges on both small and large projects,” Lee said. “I’d like the communities we live in and the clients we serve to see the HDR I see: A nearly limitless resource of deep expertise to help ensure their organizations’ success by committed and passionate professionals.”
