Elaine Verver Promoted to HDR’s Transportation Real Estate & Right of Way Services Director
Verver brings her deep understanding of transport project needs to her new role.
Located in HDR’s Austin, Texas, office, Verver will provide strategic and technical leadership to refine and oversee HDR's real estate and ROW services program serving HDR's transportation clients. Working with our full-service teams, she will identify opportunities to effectively integrate ROW access and real estate solutions into our clients’ most complex infrastructure programs. Verver will diversify HDR’s real estate-related offerings for all modes of transport, and ensure technical resources and tools are aligned and leveraged to serve new and existing clients.
“I see many opportunities for our industry,” Verver said. “Program management and writing technical provisions to provide consistency and streamline processes are ways we can assist our clients as they look at alternative methods of project delivery. As for challenges, acquiring properties in a shorter time period is an emerging trend to meet accelerated delivery schedules, and we must continue to adapt and innovate to meet their needs.”
With 23 years in the industry, including 17 at HDR, Verver specializes in directing public works and transportation projects often using federal, state and local funding sources. Having successfully led more than 2,000 acquisitions and relocations, her expertise covers the entire process and includes implementation of process improvement measures to maintain consistency and streamline project delivery. In addition, her understanding of schedule management and skill with assembling the right resources to meet project expectations has led to clients consistently asking for her involvement on various programs.
“Elaine’s dedication and commitment to the practice combined with her in-depth understanding of transportation project needs will help build a stronger, more robust and sustainable RES program,” said our Transportation Consulting Services Director Janet González Tudor.
