HDR's Jamie Eichenberger was named the 2019-2020 Water Environment Federation vice president during WEFTEC, the organization’s largest conference of the year.

WEF’s governing board holds legal authority and fiduciary responsibilities on behalf of WEF and its membership. The board aims to fulfill WEF’s strategic direction and critical objectives — to connect water professionals, enrich the expertise of water professionals, increase the awareness of the impact and value of water, and provide a platform for water sector innovation.

In his role as vice president, Eichenberger will attend member association meetings in New York and Georgia, regional WEFMAX meetings and lead quarterly board meetings.

Eichenberger has been extensively involved with WEF and his home member association, the Rocky Mountain Water Environment Association, throughout his 15-year career. He has served as the Government Affairs Committee chair and past president for RMWEA. At the national WEF level, he has served as a delegate at large, speaker of the House of Delegates, and treasurer on the board of trustees. In addition, he is an active member of WEF’s Government Affairs Committee and previously served as chair of the Public Communication and Outreach Committee’s Work for Water subcommittee.
