Ninety HDR Water Specialists to Attend WEFTEC 2019
HDR will have a large contingent of specialists, presenters and moderators again at the largest water quality event in North America — 2019 Water Environment Federation's Technical Exhibition and Conference.
The 92nd WEFTEC will be held from Sept. 21-25 at the McCormick Place, Chicago, Illinois. Twenty-three HDR water professionals will speak at or moderate workshops and technical sessions that feature the latest in water quality research, technology, and services. Overall, HDR is sending 90 staff to attend the conference.
WEFTEC offers water quality professionals from around the world the best water quality education and training available today. This year’s conference theme is ReGeneration Workforce, aimed at building on the power of individuals who are reinventing and reinvigorating the water workforce while providing solutions for workforce development, diversity, and inclusion in the water sector.
The 2019 conference program is scheduled to include 148 technical sessions, 27 workshops, 16 mobile sessions and seven local facility tours. The award-winning exhibition will feature more than 1,000 exhibitors who will show off the latest developments, research, solutions and cutting-edge technologies.
“Our annual involvement in WEFTEC provides the opportunity for HDR to foster collaboration with both industry leaders and those starting their careers,” said Dave Clark, WEF Fellow and HDR’s wastewater director. “I’m excited about this year’s conference theme. The young professionals of today are the future leaders of WEF. They will drive our industry and regenerate our workforce.”
