Silva, Vansteenburg Promoted to New Construction Services Roles
Marc Silva was recently named Southeast region transportation construction services lead, and James Vansteenburg, CCM, was recently promoted to Florida field office principal for our construction control corporation.
Silva's recent field office principal role will serve him well as Southeast lead. His 27-year career includes project management, business development and operations for a variety of transportation clients throughout Florida.
“The opportunities in the Southeast are endless," said Steve Whitley, HDR's CCC operations director. "I look forward to working with Marc to continue our growth in field services."
A certified construction manager with the Construction Management Association of America, Vansteenburg brings more than 19 years of industry experience in project/construction management, serving as project manager on a number of transportation projects. In his new role, he will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the 70-person Florida construction practice.
“Over the past 10 years, James has shown a unique ability to manage both challenging clients and complicated projects," Whitley said. "These experiences will serve HDR well as he continues to build on the success CCC has had in the Florida market."
