Stacey Lamer Joins HDR as Northwest Food & Beverage Lead
Stacey Lamer P.E., BCEE, LEED AP, has joined HDR as Northwest food and beverage industry lead. Based in Boise, Idaho, Lamer will lead growth of the region's practice, while keeping a pulse on industry trends and developing and delivering projects.
“I’m passionate about teaming with clients to address complex water and wastewater treatment challenges,” said Lamer. “Bringing together my industrial and municipal experience nationwide with HDR’s expertise, we have the bench strength to design and manage projects taking on complex treatment and reuse systems.”
Lamer has 20 years of experience in wastewater design, construction and operations, working with clients from snack food to personal care product manufacturing. She’s skilled in evaluation, design and project management of wastewater treatment and reuse systems. Lamer is well-versed in environmental compliance permitting, training, monitoring and reporting after serving as Unilever’s go-to compliance specialist in New Century, Kansas, for more than 16 years.
“Stacey brings in-depth, hands-on experience to guide our clients with ease," said Jeff Blank, HDR's industrial sector director. "From food processors to pharmaceutical manufacturers, she’s led some of the industry’s biggest names to successful outcomes."
Lamer holds master’s and bachelor’s degrees from the University of Kansas in environmental engineering and chemical engineering, respectively. She’s a leader in several industry organizations, including American Academy of Environmental Engineers, Air & Waste Management Association, National Society of Professional Engineers and Food & Beverage Environmental Conference.
