Tom Ditoro Promoted to HDR’s Architecture Managing Director for Canada
Tom Ditoro, P.E., was recently promoted to HDR’s architecture managing director of Canada. He will also continue to serve as the director of electrical engineering until a replacement is found.
In his new role, Ditoro will provide strategic leadership and technical expertise for HDR’s Canadian architectural practice, while working in collaboration with market sector leadership. Based in HDR’s Toronto, Ontario office, he will focus on the staff’s technical development; resource management and new opportunities; strategic program growth; and cultivating project-specific leadership roles. Key to forming the Architectural Engineering Innovation program, which fosters HDR’s innovative design and internal processes, he will also continue to work with the architectural engineering group on this endeavor.
With more than 25 years of experience, Ditoro has expertise in project management, developing teams and executing projects, ranging from small healthcare remodels to complex public-private partnerships. He routinely couples his technical knowledge with his excellent communication skills to develop and implement successful solutions for both HDR staff and clients.
