Tom Dupuis to Serve as Executive Director for Lower Boise Watershed Council
Tom Dupuis, P.E., a water quality expert and senior project manager based in HDR’s Boise, Idaho, office, will serve as executive director for the Lower Boise Watershed Council.
The mission of the council is to foster and support the protection and enhancement of water quality for the lower Boise watershed, with the vision of supporting all appropriate uses in the lower Boise River.
Dupuis brings more than 40 years of experience in environmental engineering, including over 25 years of active direct involvement with the council in various capacities. He has extensive expertise in watershed and stormwater management, water quality credit trading, and water quality modeling, monitoring and assessment.
“I’m looking forward to continuing collaboration and interactions with our diverse agencies and stakeholder groups including the public,” Dupuis said. “The council serves a critical role for the protection of the environment in the Treasure Valley and beyond. I’m also excited to be able to leverage the local and global expertise and resources that HDR can bring to the council, both our technical and strategic public communications resources.”
