James Wisniewski Joins HDR as Managing Principal
James Wisniewski, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP, has joined Princeton, New Jersey’s architecture studio as managing principal. In addition to overseeing nearly 140 staff, James’ responsibilities include setting the strategic vision for the $35 million practice, developing and retaining talent, delivering design excellence and technical quality to our clients, and strengthening the firm’s presence in the region.
“We’re excited to welcome James as managing principal for one of the firm’s legacy practices. James brings the right balance of industry experience, design excellence, and operations management to help lead our Princeton team. We are most excited for the energy, enthusiasm, and new ideas he brings to HDR,” said Tom McLaughlin, Northeast region director of operations.
Winiewski brings 20 years of diverse experience to his role to include delivering more than 3 million square feet of government, justice, cultural, institutional, commercial and educational projects. James has spent two decades working through all aspects of architecture, from design and project management, to client relations, marketing, and operations. He has experience delivering distinct and highly significant projects for diverse industries both domestic and international.

Wisniewski graduated with honors from the School of Architecture at Syracuse University.
