Terri Poussard Joins HDR as Resources Manager
Terri Poussard has joined HDR as a resources manager leading the energy, waste and industrial practice in the New England states. She will oversee key projects and client relationships across market sectors to continue growing and diversifying HDR’s client base. In addition, Poussard will drive the operational performance of our project teams, executing work across these same sectors.
“Terri’s extensive experience in all things power adds depth to our team in the Northeast and will be a great asset in support of our growth in distributed generation, renewables and power delivery,” said Cynthia Joudrey, New England area manager for HDR.
Poussard has more than 30 years of experience in power plant design and development. Most recently, she was the director of project development at Stantec, working with clients in the U.S. and Canada to develop power projects across multiple subsectors, including plant services, new generation, renewables (offshore wind, onshore wind, solar and energy storage) and heavy industrial process. Poussard’s noteworthy accomplishments include development of distributed generation and combined heat and power projects for wastewater treatment; university and industrial facilities; siting studies for simple and combined cycle utility-owned power plants; feasibility studies and independent engineering support for gas-fired, biomass and renewable power projects.
“I am excited to work with HDR’s talented group of power professionals, and to be a part of growing HDR’s presence in New England,” Poussard said.
Poussard is a professional engineer and holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Clarkson University.
