Terri Poussard Poised to Grow HDR’s Power Practice
Terri Poussard has been promoted to serve as a power sector client development leader for global engineering and architecture firm HDR. Focused in the Northeastern U.S., Poussard is partnering with clients to elevate renewable energy, power delivery and power generation projects.
“Our power business in the Eastern U.S. has grown significantly, and Terri’s leadership has been critical in driving that growth,” said Bill Barnhart, HDR's power director. “Her new role empowers her to spend even more time with clients, and bring together the right mix of resources to accomplish their goals.”
Poussard has more than 30 years of power industry experience, most recently serving as a business group manager at HDR. She’s led development and execution of projects that span the power industry. Her work has helped bring emerging technologies to new and existing power facilities at universities, industrial sites, commercial power plants and renewable facilities across the U.S.
“This is an exciting time in the power industry as it continues to evolve to meet today’s challenges and incorporate new technologies. I am excited to work with our power clients in the Northeast, and showcase HDR’s capabilities in emerging areas such as offshore wind and grid modernization.”
Poussard is a professional engineer and holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Clarkson University.
