Dineen Promoted to Education & Science Principal in Omaha

John Dineen, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, has been promoted to education and science principal in HDR’s Omaha, Nebraska, architecture studio.

In his new role, he will lead pursuits, oversee strategic planning and business and client development and direct education and science project teams in the Omaha architecture studio. In collaboration with local office and regional education and science leadership, he will also help drive the direction of the sector in the region and beyond.

"In his new role, John will leverage his established relationships to drive growth in our local education and science market. With his passion and expertise, we will further develop strategic initiatives aimed at expanding HDR’s presence across the region."

Dineen brings his excellent organizational and communication skills honed as a project manager of integrated project teams to his new role as education and science principal. He excels at bringing owners, contractors, and the design team together under a unified vision and approach.

Dineen has over two decades of experience in the industry, including planning and design for architectural projects of varying scope and size. He has worked with a wide array of clients on a number of impressive projects, including the University of Nebraska Lied Center, University of Texas Health Science Center, the Kiewitt Luminarium, Creighton University Rigge Science Building Lab Renovations, Jesse Jones Library Phased Renovation as well as other civic and healthcare projects.
