Hansen Brings Industry Expertise as Director of Data Architecture

Dwayne Hansen, PMP, CCSP, has joined HDR as the director of data architecture based in Omaha, Nebraska. In this position, Hansen will partner with executive leadership on the firm's global data management strategy. He will also develop and implement best practices within data management, data architecture and organization strategies to maximize the usefulness and value obtained from company data.

"Dwayne has spent his career developing data strategies within our industry,” said Galen Meysenburg, HDR chief financial officer. “His mix of experience and expertise will be a huge asset to our leadership team, our company and ultimately our clients.”

“I'm excited about all the data-related opportunities that HDR can leverage within our organization,” Hansen said. “Exploring and defining business differentiating services, enabled by data management practices and utilizing data for insights, will allow breakthrough performance in making great things possible.”

Before joining HDR, Hansen spent two years at a construction organization delivering initiatives for a comprehensive data platform, modern application integration and cloud governance. He spent the previous 22 years at an electric public utility, involved in the integrated energy marketplace, advanced metering technologies, customer billing systems, mobile workforce management, enterprise asset management and financial sustainability projects.

He earned his Master of Science in information technology from Creighton University in Omaha. Hansen has also achieved several professional certifications, including The Open Group Architecture Framework for Enterprise Architecture and ISC2 Certified Cloud Security Professional.
